JP Listings Limited ("we," "our," "us") is a property listing platform based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal information we collect through jplistings.co.uk and our valuation tool, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect
If you use our listing form:
- Your name, email address and mobile number
- Your property's postcode and address
- Property details you provide: type, tenure, bedrooms, bathrooms, asking price, EPC rating and council tax band
- Photographs and a written description of the property
After you submit a listing, as part of verification:
- Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence
- Proof of ownership, such as title deeds, a mortgage statement, a home insurance policy, or a purchase agreement
If you use our home valuation tool:
- Your email address, and the property details you enter to receive a valuation
Automatically, from anyone visiting the site:
- Your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, through cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies, below.
We do not collect payment card details or your age. We do not currently charge for listings.

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Brevo, our email platform, to send you emails about your listing and enquiry
- Meta and Google, through advertising and analytics tools, in a form that helps us measure and improve our advertising. See Cookies, below.
- WonderPush, if you opt in to browser notifications
- Our own verification team, to check ID and ownership documents
- Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to
How long we keep it
- If you start a listing but do not finish it, we keep your details for up to 12 months, so we can follow up, and then delete them.
- While your listing is live, we keep your details for as long as the listing runs, plus a further three months in case you renew.
- We keep photo ID and proof of ownership only for as long as necessary to verify your listing, and delete them within 30 days of verification being complete, unless we are required to keep them for longer to meet a legal obligation.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential site functions, which do not require consent
- Analytics, currently Google Analytics, to understand site usage
- Advertising, currently Meta Pixel and Google Ads, to measure and improve our advertising
- Notifications, WonderPush, only if you opt in
Non-essential cookies, meaning analytics and advertising cookies, are only set once you give consent through our cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct it if it is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive a copy in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these, contact info@jplistings.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk, if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
Children
Our services are not directed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age.
International transfers
Some of the services we use, including Brevo, Meta and Google, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards required under UK GDPR, such as the UK's international data transfer agreement or an adequacy decision, rather than any older framework.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as our services change, and post the new version here with an updated date.
